New at Surf Co.! Tank Tops, Shorts, Skirts, Sandals!!

Hey everyone! I have a pretty huge summery release for you today! Here's the line-up:

Coastal Tanks - These tanks come in 22 colors and on all layers. They have low sides and are GREAT for mix-matching! The wrinkles on the torso make this a perfect top to tuck into a high-waisted bottom!

Hermana Tanks - These tanks come in 20 colors (on all layers) and have sculpted chest ruffles. Layer them under the Coastal Tanks for a super cute look :D

Summer of Stripes Skirt - These high-waist skirts come in 11 colors, 5 with a white base, 6 with a cream/beige base. The skirt is fully sculpted and you can even remove it to find that the base doubles as a pair of cute little stretch shorts! You can even throw on a bikini top and turn it into a bathing suit!

Cafe Shorts - These shorts come in 18 colors and on all layers. (My favorite is Tomato :D)

Shoelace Sandals - These sandals are fully sculpted and I released a pair for 50L Friday not long ago, but this time they come fully equipped with a texture change script that allows you to change the laces AND the sole of the shoes!

50L Friday at Surf Co.! Down the Shore Tees, Beach Pass Bracelets, and a Yummy Corn Dog!

Hey guys, I got a little silly this 50L Friday with some absolute must-haves for a trip down the shore. What's a day at the beach without the beach pass bracelet? Tight, uncomfortable, and the source of a horrible tan-line.. at least it comes in pretty colors! Luckily, in SL you can remove this beach pass bracelet from your wrist with ease, and with SL's current technology, you won't be getting any tan lines! Also, loosen it without having to break that snap with a nifty resize script! And how bout that corn dog?? Now this delicious and greasy treat is only a click away! You don't even need to count calories. Lastly, the "Down the Shore" t-shirt.. this tee has a sculpted bottom and arms since a loose tee is best for ease of removal before sprinting into the waves. Hey everyone! I have a pretty big release for you today! Continuing the Spring/Summer kick-off, I have some sundresses, colorful wedge heels, floral belts, leather belts, and ruffle bum one piece bathing suits!

Here's the line-up:

Sway Sundresses - These dresses come in 12 delicate florals. The skirt portion is fully sculpted, and has 3 attachments (pelvis and both upper legs, to be worn together) so that your legs don't glitch through. The poof top adds to the comfy relaxed look of the dress and hopefully it will inspire you to go out and pick some flowers! :D

Seaside One Piece - This bathing suit comes in 16 colors. It is a strapless one-piece with an open back and optional sculpted tush ruffles! Wear it alone or match it up with one of the new belts if you wanna get fancy schmancy.

Clothbound Bow Belt - This sash belt comes in 7 springy florals with a bulky bow tie in the back & has a resize script. A great piece to spruce up any look. Add it to a tank, a tee, a dress, anything! Try them with the Seaside One Pieces!

Artists absorb the world around them. Their environments, that which they can feel and touch and see - and that which they can't. Sometimes that which they can only dream of. They absorb it and translate it into a language that affects us all in some way.

This project is a study of translations. I presented 25 artists within Second Life with a concept of creating art with these words in mind: Drowning. Melting. Polar bears. Arctic. Culpability. Corporate greed. Inevitability. Extinction.

What they have done is breathtaking and beyond any realm of my expectations.

New at Surf Co.! Unisex Beach Shoes/Comfy Denim Shorts/Colorful Bikinis!

Hey everyone! I have a new summer-obsessed release for you including bikinis, comfy denim shorts, and some funky beach shoes called Boardwalkers that I made for the guys (!!!) but there's also a version for the girlies :D Both versions of the shoes are included in each vendor and they have a resize script! The cuffs on the denim shorts also have a resize script, so YAY! This release is light, summery, colorful, and pretty much everything that my mind is filled with right now, so if its a little too early for some of you, my DEEPEST apologies, but I just couldn't help myself. Winter is totally over @ Surf Co.

Some specs: the shorts come in 8 washes, the bikinis come in 8 colors, and the shoes come in 16 colors/materials. There are a few different tweeds, some plain hemps, and some SUPER colorful ones too! I hope you guys like them! :D

The Havering Dress - I did this in 1 color for 50L Friday, and added 9 more to the lineup. This dress comes on all layers (with glitch pants) and has a flex skirt option as well as sculpted. It also includes optional sleeves if you're feelin that look :D

Rendezvous V-Necks - These tees come in 2 versions, printed and plain. They are sold separately. They come on all layers and include glove extentions so you can wear the sleeves full length.

Slouchy Thread Sweater - These sweaters come in 5 colorful florals and include sculpted sleeves!

Belmar Skinny Jeans - Each color of these jeans includes plain and dotted versions (yay dots! :D) and also have a sock layer so you can wear them full length.

Elsa Boots - These are sculpted suede boots with a low cowboy-style heel and a comfy slouchy knit top that folds over. They come in 8 base colors and the knit portion of each pair is scripted with 25 different colors (just click for the menu)!! NOTE: These are copy/mod/no transfer, so you can modify them but they are optimized for size 0 feet. Please make a copy first if you do intend to resize them yourself!

GIFTS: Tis the holiday season so I figured I would make gift options for this release! The top row of boots (in the shop) are all REGULAR, which means they are copy/mod/no transfer. New @ Surf Co.! All About Fall... Hoodies, Jeans, Rain Boots, and MORE!

Well summer's officially gone here in Jersey. I always go through a few weeks of being super sad, but then I get REALLY excited cause fall brings some of the funnest traditions and cutest fashions! Around here its all about apple-picking, pumpkin patching, county fairs, hay rides, and apple pies.. THIS was my inspiration for Surf Co.'s newest release :D I tried to picture the most practical cozy cold-weather wear (what I wear IRL pretty much every day of the fall season), did it in all my favorite colors, added in some rain gear (cause it has been a particularly rainy couple of months!) and TA-DAA, Surf Co's first fall release! :D There are also some fun extras in this release to highlight my favorite parts of the season and the farewell to summer! BRING ON THE COLD!!!!

The line-up:

- Vintage Fall Fest Hoodies
Yanno that sweatshirt you got 10 years ago and refuse to part with? This is the one! This hoodie comes in all the layers (except underpants, sorry to those of you who wanted to tuck your hoodie into your jeans xD), and each hoodie includes 2 versions: with a graphic, and without a graphic. It has a sculpted hoodie and a sculpted waist section with a front pocket. NOTE: the sculpts were made to fit with the puffer layer ON, so please don't forget to wear the puffer, and if you don't want to thats okay, you just may need to adjust the waist sculpt a tad. :) Also, don't forget to wear the gloves or else you wont see the ends of the sleeves.

- Hot Cocoa Stain Jeans
These were inspired by a car ride to a fall festival near Lake Ontario. You can guess what happened :D These jeans are ankle-length with a sculpted cuff, they come on both the pants and underpants layers, and come in 9 different washes (all with a cocoa stain)! xD Each wash also comes with a uniquely colored sculpted hot cocoa mug that you can hold. All the mugs are available together in the fatpack of jeans (plus a bonus mug!).

- Kettle Corn Cardigans
These cardigans include a built-in tank top, and are perfect for layering or wearing alone. They come in 5 different colors and are available on all layers.

- Rain Boots!!!
These are sculpted rain boots with a splashing puddle squeak sound built in! You can click the top of your right boot to bring up a menu with "Sounds On" and "Sounds Off" options. These are perfect rain gear and come in enough colors to match ANY outfit.

- Swinging Umbrella
This umbrella is scripted with an AO to let you swing it as you stand. It is also color-change on click, and will bring up a menu so that you can choose from any of the colors (MOST matching the rain boots quite well! :D). Type "ao on" or "ao off" in open chat (minus the quotes) to start/stop swinging. You might want to turn ao off in order to click for color change, cause its kind of hard to grab while its moving. There are 4 versions of this umbrella included: a slow swing, a medium swing, a fast swing, and a prop that is not animated, but makes a really cute decoration! The umbrella can be found next to the rain boots.

Hey everyone! So if you've done the Skipping Stones Hunt and you've seen my gift, this next release from Surf Co. won't come as a major surprise. For those of you who haven't done the hunt, my gift was a sculpted straw cowboy hat, chewing wheat, and a gray plaid top. Now for the newness!!:

- Straw Cowboy Hats in 12 colors with menu scripted color-change bands (10 colors and 7 neutrals). Each hat comes with 2 different versions, regular and faded. I wanted to give both options because the regular looks new like you just bought it, and the faded looks more worn out like you've been wearing it at the beach all summer long <3. Each hat ALSO comes with chewing wheat (to complete the look :D).

- "I'm A Little Bit Country" Plaid Tops. These come in 6 colors and include all layers.

Skipping Stones Hunt Gift @ Surf Co. & NEW Subscriber Kiosk! <3

Hey everyone! :D This is the first hunt Surf Co. has participated in so I am really excited to share my contribution!! The theme was lazy summer so I did a sculpted and faded straw cowboy hat (the one you've been wearing all summer long xD), some chewing wheat (cause nothing says "lazy summer" like it!), and a plaid top! The top comes on all layers and the hat and wheat are both copy, mod, no transfer. There are lots of other great prizes in the hunt too so if you have time, you should definitely try to do the whole thing! xD What you're looking for is a gray glowing stone which contains my gift and a landmark to the next location. *This is a chain hunt so you'll eventually end up back at Surf Co.<3* My hint to you is that my stone can be found within 20 meters of the landing point.

Colleen -
This top style was chosen and named by Miabella Foxley, the winner of the Surf Co. item @ the Indie Rock for RFL auction! I loved the style she chose because it was TOTALLY Surf Co. and I had so much fun making it! This top comes in 10 colors with a sculpted poof top and sculpted skirt.

New at Surf Co.! - Flip Flops, Tank Tops, Sweaters, and Shorts!

Hey everyone! I just put out my first summer clothing release of the season! I know its not technically summer yet but I really don't care, I couldn't wait any longer.. SOOOO this release features over 50 brand new summery beachy colorful items for your beach-going/lounging pleasure. The line-up:

Driftwood Tanks:
These supersoft tanks come in 14 colors and are a TAD sheer so that you can layer them nicely. They are very low cut and have super low cut sides. These can be worn alone if you're feeling a little risque (or its really pixel-hot out), but I picture them over a swimsuit or another tank.. either way, I think you'll like them! :D

Racerback Striped Tanks:

These come in 12 colors with a racer-back cut and work very well with the Driftwood Tanks, but can also be worn alone of course.

Floral Cab Sweaters:

These cropped cardigans come open-front in 6 colors with floral/berry contrasting detail all around the neckline. Another great layering piece :D

Rolled Denim Shorts:
These come in 5 washes and have a folded over waist. This is how I wear my denim shorts in the summer after a beach day where I'm sticky from saltwater and don't feel like zipping up all the way.. typically I've got a bathing suit on but they're not toooo low so you can get away with wearing them alone or with undies too :D

Freedom Flops!:

I finally made sculpted leather flipflops to update from my Emma Flip Flops! These come in 17 beachtastic colors and are fit to size 0 feet. They are mod though so you can resize them however you like. Since they are made for size 0 girl feet, they'll be a little tougher to resize for a male foot but it is possible, so I do consider them to be unisex.

All items come individually and in a variety pack (Shopping Spree bags) which saves you bunches of Lindens, so if you love it enough, its definitely worthit :D

New @ Surf Co! - The Cabana Dress

The Cabana Dress:
A soft flirty fun dress for spring/summer with a flouncy double-layered sculpted skirt. This dress comes in 8 different color combinations and is copy/mod/no trans. I'm going to be setting pretty much all my stuff to these perms from now on just because of some issues I'd had in the past but ANYHOO. The dresses come in all layers, including: Jacket, Shirt, Undershirt, Pants, Underpants + Sculpted Skirt.

::Note about the skirt:: It is supposed to sit just below the belt (built into the upper body layer). If you try to set it lower than this, it will end up looking weird and you'll run into issues. See the "Cabana Dress" picture below for examples.

New Skins @ Surf Co.!!

Hey everyone! I'm finally releasing my new hand-drawn beachy skin-line at Surf Co. and I'm sooo excited! The theme is "Beach Day" (what else???) and I have 4 tones (types of sunscreen xD) - 8 makeups each. I'm alsoo announcing the location of my new main store!!! My little spot over at Artilleri is now my BIG spot over at Artilleri (thanks to Antie!! <3) and that's where I'll be camped out permanently! I'm really excited too about my new build (made by Cory Edo - soo amazing!) All skins are copy/no mod/no trans, and the bottles they come in are copy/mod/no trans (in case you feel like decorating with them :D). Each skin is being sold for 750L, and the variety pack is 3,500L saving you 2,500L.

Closing of Caribe, new temp location, and NEW POSE SET!

Hey everyone! I have some sad news.. Recently Caribe had to close down because the sim owner had to abandon the land and no one else was buying it. I wanna say thanks to everyone who rented at Caribe, we had a lot of fun while it lasted :D

Being as Caribe was the main location for Surf Co, I am currently looking for a NEW main location, but for the time being, a VERY sweet Kimmie Underall offered me a free spot over at her mall, ToTk. So I've set up my temporary main spot there, where you can find ALL my stuff except for hair, which I will be putting out soon.

NOW for the newnesss.. in honor of my current summer craving, I made a beachy pose set while hanging out w/ Antie and decided I'd set it for sale! It's a clothes-line with 2 striped towels clothespinned to it and 2 built in poses. One for a girl and one for a guy. The set is copy/mod/no trans and comes fully linked. Me and Antie had a lot of fun beachifying so I hope you guys do too!! :D Set it out anywheree, in your yard, on a beach, etcc! Also can be used for ad-making :P Oh!! And remember, ladies sit first! <3

For a LM to my temp. shop at ToTk, please check my picks, it will be the first one. And when you TP, you'll have to fly a little bit since the LM brings you to the center of the sim.

HELLOOOOOO - I'm still alive!!!!

Hey everybody! I don't know if you have noticed or not but there has been an extreme lack of updating being done lately, and I wanted to let you all in on the little secret that has been the reason for this. About a month ago I was contacted by a company that had seen my designs and thought they were good, they then offered me a position designing for them, and I accepted. I thought long and hard about it first because I <3 Surf Co. and all of you so much and really didn't want to give that up, so I decided that I would bring you all with me! The company that hired me to design for them is called Armidi (I'm sure you've heard of them), and I am designing under the name Hudsen Armidi. I am going to keep this group opened and continue to update you guys on every new release I personally make for the Armidi stores (in my Surf Co. update group). This is definitely a bittersweet experience as I am bummed about the fact that Surf Co. will be hibernating for some time, but at the same time I'm SOO excited about this opportunity and I really hope you guys will come along tooo (of course not forgetting Surf Co., whose doors will remain opened indefinitely, and EMMA who I will be logging on constantly to update you guys and to keep running Surf Co., just without new releases).. I hope you guys can all come and enjoy the new designs I've been making (bringin a little Surf Co. FLAVAA <33 :D), and pleaseee don't be a stranger... I MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH and all of your support and encouragement has meant so much to me over the past year and a half, and I'm so happy that I can FINALLYYYY let the cat outta the bag :D

Hey all! Just updating to let you know that I will be posting a new release very shortly, as soon as I finish the ads forrrrrr MENS CLOTHING! Phewww, thats been a long time coming.. I wish I had started sooner I'm really starting to get into it. The line will be funky, casual, colorful (but not too girly heheeee), I have a few items that I'm gonna release at once and then after that I will continue to pop new stuffs out on a semi-regular basis. Save Surf Co.!! - Read on...

*Save Surf Co. Sale/Fundraiser*

Hey there!

Here's the story: I am quite a klutz IRL (not so proud of it), and this time I really did myself in. I was happily working in Photoshop a couple of days ago, enjoying an amazing strawberry milkshake when I went to pick up my cup and BAM. Strawberry milkshake everywhere.. well not EVERYWHERE.. just on my 4 month old laptop .. To my horror, the screen instantly went black and made an eerie *im dying* noise... I flipped it over to get the stuff off, but the damage was already done. Right away I started calling the manufacturer to see if my insurance (which I paid for 3 years) would cover it. No such luck. They don't cover "spills".. so THEN, since being without a laptop means so many horrific things I couldn't even CONSIDER it, I asked them what it would cost for a repair. The grand total: $1,300.00 USD. I almost fainted. They said that the problem was the "logic board" which is the mac version of a "mother board." So at first I thought "TOTAL RIPOFF.. forget you guys, I'll get it done some other way." I started calling around for 3rd party repair places and quotes.. and they all charge a ton, AND most of them were located across the country. I have a hard time trusting stuff like that.. this laptop pretty much has my whole LIFE in it. So because I have a bunch of computer whizzes in my house.. I figured we could do it ourselves. Step 1: find out how much a logic board costs... for my specific model... its a thousand bucks. CRAP! For 300 more, the manufacturer could do it and would also replace the keyboard and anything else that had been damaged in my milkshake flinging incident. So NOW, since SL is my only source of income and I am at a severe disadvantage having no access whatsoever to my own laptop (right now I'm using my bf, Phil's which he needs back in 2 weeks when college starts), I am trying to raise funds to get my baby fixed. If I can't get it fixed, I will have to try to save up for another laptop and who knows how long that could take with school starting in only 2 weeks (which puts a huge dent in my time bank). But because there are a ton of important things on that computer and because I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna be able to keep Sand Shack Surf Co. going, I have to find some way to take care of this problem. SO! There are a couple of things I'm doing for this:

1) I will have a huge sale on all the upstairs items at my artilleri location which will include old AND brand new stuff! (the brand new includes Dot-Lined Henleys in 18 colors, Vintage Beach Bags, Earrings, and a Promo Tee for the fundraiser!)
2) I will have a donations pot for any of you feeling EXTRA generous
3) (cont'd number 1) - I will be releasing some brand new items at a discounted price (about 40-50+%)

I've also placed a meter just inside the store to gauge how the fundraiser is going :D - I will update as often as I can, and will leave a "last updated" tag each time <3

NOTE: This whole thing is STRICTLY for me to get my computer fixed and I don't want anyone to feel obligated to help out in any way shape or form.. I know as well as anyone that a lot of the money we take in this game goes to our RL needs, so if you can't help out please please please know that I STILL LOVE YOU!!!

Polos in 20 Colors, but not just ANY polos!!! They tie in the back.. WOOT.. Yanno the ones that are too baggy so u tie em... yah thats these. Cute and comfy (once again), each color comes with a jacket and tee version, prim rolled-up sleeves, and a prim back tie (all modable)..

The style and color just make this another item you MUST have if you're a mix-matching beachy summer freak like me. I tried to mind the details by adding contrast buttons and the lil (becoming a trademark) stitched palm tree logo <3 - I hope you all stock up and enjoy!!

OK, so I've been super busy in game and irl, and posting has pretty much been on the back burner since the thought of how much stuff I need to update on is terrifying!! But, I'm going to make an attempt now to get completely up to date, one thing at a time, or at LEAST make a dent! So lets get down 2 beezwax:

I'll start with the most recent stuff and work my way back :D

SURF CO. INTRODUCES (drumroll........) HAIR!!!

Lola hair in 10 colors! Each color comes with 4 hairband options, 3 textured and 1 tintable, and lil bobby pins holdin up the ponytail in the back! WOOHOO!

Next.. SwiMmiEs!! - aka waterwings, floaties - I was in a silly mood, and now I realize that swimmies are a must-have for all you cuties out there who can't really make it into the water without experiencing the fear of drowning.. EASE YOUR SOULS WITH THESE COLORFUL PUFFS :D (or just make a hardcore fashion statement ;P)

Taggy Tanks!! = I made these with the thought that there's so many times that I find a great pair of bottoms, but just want something simple and matching to wear on top. Cute and casual, these tanks should solve that problem for anyone. They come in 18 colors, and each color comes in 3 versions, long tank (jacket layer), short tank (jacket layer), and short tank (tee layer). They are also available in one big fat pack if you can't make up your mind about which color to get, AND of course you save a few lindens.. WEE!!

Ball 'n Chain Chunky Wristwear - these are the product of a bit of boredom, and the desire for some casual funky bracelets to mix-match and fun up pretty much any casual outfit - they come in 7 colors and are modable :P

THE ONE PIECE SUIT! Yay! My sister Rachel actually inspired this creation because she loves the one piece, but hates how a lot of them are lacking in the style and cuteness department. Why leave that all to the bikinis?? Shouldn't one pieces get the same love and attention? Well here was my attempt:

Antie Kini and Ash Kini (2 of my bestest buds <3) - Antie Kini has a cherry theme with a cross back and little stitching and embroidery details on the top and butt, Ash Kini is watermelon themed with contrasting dots and straps, also with a cute lil watermelon embroidered on the top <3

WOOT WOOT! ----- these tops come in 8 dif colors with flexi sleeve tie options, and jacket AND tee layer. The jacket layer adds an undershirt extension matching the seagull print for a cutie patootie layered look. These are available in a fatpack as well as individually but if you grab the fatpack you save 380L! <3 WELLLLL I'm not feeling supa chatty right now so I'll just skip to the pics :DD

I need to blog more often.. OOPS!!! Haha.. well I'm new to blogging so please be patient with meh! OK! Down to business - new @ Sand Shack Surf Co. - Cute Butt Lounge Pants:

Just released these today, and I'm super psyched about 'em because they're the perfect pants to wear with a kini. Sometimes its awkward to wear jeans (not always), and sometimes you wanna wear shorts, but sometimes you need a freakin cute pair of comfy pants to LoUnGe in - when I was makin these I was really thinkin bout a longgg beach day of swimming and tannin.. coming to a close and all you wanna do is nap for an hour on ur beach blanket with your buds before you head 2 the pizzeria or hit the boardwalk - YAH this is what I'd be wearin :D

ALso.. these were released last week but I forgot 2 blog them (tsk tsk) - Pretty in Plaid Tops!! These come in 3 sets (Neutrals) (Brights) and (Combos) - and all are available individually as well - Gettin a pack saves you a buck of course, but if you're color picky, go for the individuals and mix match :D They all come in jacket and tee as well (WOOT WOOT FOR OPTIONS!!)

NOW FOR MY LOVE STORY WITH HAUTE MONDE SALON!!

This brand new hair salon that just opened last week, created by Ashlin Leandros, has already been blogged @ Style Disorder ( http://www.styledisorder.com ) and now it's my turn!! SD blogged Cupcake which is an amazing little do that is a MUST-HAVE for SURE, but I'm gonna focus on "1987".. from the second I put these magical strands on my abnormally sized head (and after a bit of resizing) I WAS IN LOVE. It has the cutest bangs that are super flattering to the face, and the side ponytail is ADORABLE with just the right amount of flex. My point? GO GET IT NOWWW!!!! :)

CUTENESS @ WOO's

I got an IM the other day from Wednesday Soon of Woo's who had just purchased a few things @ my shop and passed me a set of bangles because she thought they would go PERFECTLY with some of my stuffs... so I tried them on and <3<3<3<3 I was overcome with joy. The bangles she gave me came in a cute little bag with a Thank You notecard and a description explaining that although the bangles come with the option of wearing on your left or right arm, each one is put together in a different order, so if you wear both they don't look identical and a bit noob-ish. The ones I got from her are called "Cherry Lime Seltzer" (suchhh a cute and fun name too!!)
